To that end, Excelsior has developed, in cooperation with Professional Business Services Inc., an 8-week educational program about business start-ups. Excelsior Institute of Business and Finance has secured industry leading professionals with substantial experience and education to guide you on your journey to business success.

The B.O.S.S. program provides comprehensive instruction on every aspect of building a business, preparing you to hit the ground running on opening day. Graduates will leave with practical skills, an actionable launch plan, and the confidence to operate and grow their enterprise.

Breakdown of the class structure

• An 8-week educational course with hands on learning
• Two classes per week for 2 hours each night 
• Pitch contest at the conclusion of the class. (Cash prizes to the top 3 winners!)

There will be allocated time at the end for students to ask any questions, talk to mentors or coaches, as well as get financial support and resources their business needs.

Why is the class worthwhile?

Upon completion, students will have a fully operational and licensed business. Because of the comprehensive nature of the class and the step-by-step process, from concept to fully operational legally registered business, students will be required to attend all sessions and devote time outside of class to their business.

 It is encouraged that all owners of the business attend and discounts will be applied on a per company basis. Your effort and commitment to your business will determine your success, but you are welcome to continue with your current employment while attending the course.
